What it is
Resend is WebGrow24's default for transactional email delivery. Built by the team behind some of the most widely-used email infrastructure in the JavaScript ecosystem, Resend replaces older SMTP-based services like SendGrid and Mailgun with a developer-first API that integrates directly into Node.js and browser code without an external transport layer. Emails are sent through Resend's API using React Email components, which means email templates are written in JSX with the same component model our developers already use for the web — props, conditionals, and loops all work the same way they do in a React component. For Indian SMBs, Resend's delivery to Indian ISP addresses is reliable when DNS records are correctly configured, and the dashboard provides enough bounce and complaint data to debug delivery issues without needing a separate email analytics tool. We use Resend for order confirmations and shipping notifications on e-commerce builds, account verification and password reset flows for authenticated apps, onboarding sequences that introduce new users to a product's core features, and dunning emails that recover abandoned carts before checkout is lost. Domain authentication via DKIM, SPF, and DMARC is automated through Resend's DNS configuration UI, which reduces the setup time for a new transactional domain from hours to minutes.
